Film review: The 9th Life of Louis Drax (2016)

Synopsis:

Louis Drax find himself can't be died, but at his 9th birthday, he is to be found drown at the sea and get to the hospital. Dr Allan Pascal began to receive letter from him about avoiding being relationship with his mother, though Louis is in comma condition. Strange things starts to happen as Dr Pascal tried to help Drax condition.

Review:

This film was taken from the same name as its novel. Jamie Dornan as Dr Allan Pascal, he believe in supernatural state of a person.  He is assigned with Louis Drax case. He later starts a sexual relationship with Drax mother and their relationship began from there. Aaron Paul starred as Drax father. I have to admit Aaron Paul give good performance here, he is a loving father for Louis Drax.

Back to Dr Pascal, I like Jamie Dornan' act performance when he is in hypnotic state to act like Louis Drax. It's kind of one of the best performance of Dornan. He gives best out of him.

Although this movie is not making lot of box office revenue, I still saying this movie is entertaining, especially with the shocked ending. It's still good to watch if you are supernatural thriller seeker.

My rating: 6.8/10

Kind regards,

Selene.
