Review :
I always love to read story from Mr Richards. I know his writing. Always full of suprised and twist that none can match. But unfortunately for this book, it was quite not up to his usual standard. Nothing wrong with the story and the characters. Actually it was very good. It just looks like that he write the story in a hurry. Either the opening and middle was too long or the ending was too short. The story itself was a little too "nightmarish" for my liking. I mean usually Mr Douglas main characters managed to defeat the enemy but on this case, it was an open ended. Don't take me wrong I love story with open ending. It just doesn't work this time. Not too mention, the open ending story could be backfired for Mr Richard Nick Hall series sequel. Anyway, I still have high confidence that his next science fiction books will be great. Really recommend this book for science fiction thriller lovers. My ratings : 4.5 of 5 Regards, Angela |
