Review:
I think this film has very unique idea, where humans have choice to be shrink in size or just having current life. There is new world called leisureland, where downsizing humans can have new life. If in real life they can't afford to buy a house like Paul Safranek and his wife Audrey Safranek. Both of them tired of their stressful life in real bigsize world and wants to enter downsizing world. Apparently when Paul already done the procedures. His wife, Audrey called off in the last minute and left Paul alone. One year later, they have divorced and Paul stucked in his new downsizing world. Later, he meet disabled viatnemese woman and falled in love with her and they ship together to Norway and he wants to live with her.
The ending of this movie is pretty hanging for me, where Paul brought food for old man at the poor district in downsizing world. I am not sure what the messages of this film. Paul seems happy with his life in downsizing world. Paul was stressful with his real life because he and his wife got the house loan application rejected and they feel frustrated of their job too. So, Paul decided to have new life in downsizing world and he seems happy with the vietnamese lady that he helped and meet later. I don't see the good points of this film, it's just an adventure of human who downsizing and have a life beyond he can ever imagined.
If you look for weekend movie or if you interest in adventure film, you can try this one.
Now I would like to review another film that I used to anticipate. At last I can watch it. It was the sequel of Guilermo Del Toro Pacific Rim. I really like that film. Now what about the sequel Pacific Rim Uprising ? Can it surpassed Pacific Rim ?
Actually nearing the film released, I don't plan to watch it simply because I am afraid that this film will make me craved more or stop caring. It turn out neither because this film was created with different producer and different actors. If the first film is Mercedez then this film is Honda. Yes, the difference is that great. I don't know who's idea to change the director. Worse, they use first time director (no offense to Mr. Steven S DeKnight). Next, they use less known actors. Personally I don't mind these change if they can deliver. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I don't say that the film is that bad. It just different film from Pacific Rim. At first, I thought maybe they have less budget or something. But when I see from Wikipedia that the budget is 150 million dollars. It really blows my mind. How could 150 million dollars budget create this average film. I mean even the CG is very ordinary compare to other sci-fi film. Not to mention, they nearly don't use any song at all. I remember that Pacific Rim is very loud film. So loud that you can hear the sound from outside the studio. Really that's not the case here.
Let's talk about the story. I don't really know how to comment it. I mean the addition of Shao industries is quite forceful. Yes I know Legendary was bought by Wanda and Pacific Rim is famous in China. Personally I don't mind it if they execute it perfectly but don't know I think Jing Tian is not the right actress for the role. Or maybe the role itself is not good. It would be better if Liwen is the bad guy or mysterious guy instead of CEO from some company that coming out of nowhere. There's no chemistry at all. Next, I don't even want to talk about the Kaiju. The Kaiju in Pacific Rim is quite good. But in this, I think it's lame. The way it dies. You thought three combined category 4 and 5 Kaijus will be much tougher. Nope, it really anti climax. I remember it was very difficult to kill even one in Pacific Rim. And the biggest one is Jaeger itself. I really like Jaeger in Pacific Rim. The director really make me feel that Jaeger is special and humanity savior. But in this, Jaeger is no more than ordinary robot. The way it is, I doubt Gypsi Abyss (the main character Jaeger) merchandise will sell like cake.
Now the last part, all of this maybe can be tolerated if the actors somehow with their good acting can make us really immersed with the story. I don't say the acting is bad. No. It just ordinary. There's no chemistry whatever between the main characters or between characters at all. The good news is some actors from Pacific Rim like Mako Mori, Burn Gorman and Charlie Day (That I still remember) appear and I think they have more impact than the main characters. In different alternate story, I imagined Raleigh Becket and Mako Mori come back and save the day. No wonder, Guilermo Del Toro said that this sequel is different from the sequel that he planned even though he is the producer. Yes the producer.
Anyway, despite everything, I still think that it could have been much worse. I hope this film become successful simply because if it end like this, it would surely tarnish Pacific Rim name. I wish they would make another sequel and make it trilogy. Of course, my hope is with Guilermo Del Toro in charge or at least another good veteran director with good actors.

This story focus on Brad' point of view. Brad start to have insomnia thinking about his life. He likes to see social media and start to compare his life with his old friends.
One day he accompanied his son, Troy for Harvard' interview. His son apparently forgot his interview
the wrong day. Brad tried to call his old friend who is professor at Harvard and finally his son can get second chance to be interview with his favorite lecturer there.
During the whole process, Brad learnt that not all looks good seems to be perfect life. This film has good idea but it is quite not sure what message of this film. Beside, Brad' kid appeared too quiet in this film, I don't know if he tried to be funny but it is not funny either. Seems the ending of this film is not really end for me.
Overall quite entertaining film to fill your weekend movie day.
Alex meet Ben when they hired a small boeing to go to New York. Their plane crashed and both of them need to survive at the mountain. No body help and both of them need to support each other until they find a way to back to city.
Review:
This is a good romance novel. I liked how strangers can be a couple. Ben is a surgeon and Alex is a jounalist. Both of them stranded in the mountain and both of them tried to survive with all they have.
They tried to get to know each other which is not easy at first because Ben is introvert about his personal life. Alex also had a fiancee and she was going to a dress fit session. She is going to marry Mark on the next day.
When both of them finally comeback to the city, they fall in love. Ben tried to avoid Alex because he thought Alex is already married to Mark. She actually called off the wedding. She find soulmate in Ben. Actually the story is pretty good. Kate Winslet is very good to play deep feeling romance. When she played "the reader" it stuck in my head for days. I like her acting.
What I expect is I want more romance session between them. more love emotional connection between them when they stuck in mountain and after they comeback to city.
Well it is still good romance drama, if you are looking into one.

I have to admit that it is hard to find good movies these days, yet this film is stealing my heart. Beside Emma Stone' outstanding acting in this film too. This film tells about Billy Jean King' love life and her career. This film exposed Billy Jean' lesbian with her hairdresser too. She challenges Bobby Riggs and She wins all the three sets.
She proved that all Bobby Riggs' said all was wrong. Women should have same chance in tennis career and that man and woman are equal. I liked the idea that she raised. The message of this film is well delivered and the struggling feeling you could sense from Billy Jean.
I really recommend this film if you are looking for good movie.

Honestly, I don't enjoy the madness of this movie. It was weirdly funny, a lot crazy deadness. I don't enjoy it. The story itself is pretty interesting which peoples who use drugs get the virus such as blue rash and dancing out of control and terrific dead. The acting for the actors are pretty good, especially psychopath Poppy and her weird jokes. But really, It is just not fit in my cup of tea.
If you like weird jokes or psycho jokes, this film is for you.

I like this film a lot. I did not expect this film will rock my heart and emotion. I cried and laugh a lot. The stand up comedy itself are good, makes me laugh. The relationship between Kumail and Emily also good, it feels natural and sweet. This film really caught me to keep watching this film and I did enjoy it.
I cried when Kumail gave bad performance during Montreal audition because he admit his feeling to Emily' sickness. I like how Kumail choose to chase his dream to be stand up comedian. He is really talented.
I really recommend this film if you like stand up comedy, romance or sweet drama. This film will absolutely caught your emotion like it did to me.
British explorer named Percy Fawcett journey to Amazon to find the lost city of Z.
Review:
The story of this film is simple, it is about the ambition of British explorer named Percy Fawcett to Amazon to find the lost city of Z. In his journey, he lost friends, see friend died because of Piranha and meet ancient Indian in Amazon. He even mingle with them.
Later He brought his son with him to find the city Z but has never come back. Some claim Fawcett already find the city Z. Who really knows what exactly happens to him because the ending is bias and unclear.
This film is entertaining. Only I don't like the unfinished ending, I am curious what city Z looks like. Percy Fawcett devoted his life to find Z, even he sacrifice his family, to be apart a long time with his wife, in order to go his journey to Amazon. It is a big sacrifice to something that is not really exactly known whether its exist or not.
If you like adventurous film, you can try to watch this film. It is a good cast and plot too.
Baywatch team leaded by Mitch find out there is drug under the yacth. They work together to solve this case.
Review:
This is the comedy action drama. Brody is newly lifeguard of Baywatch team. Eventually he can work with Mitch. Mitch suspected Leeds is secretly doing drugs business. Later during Mitch hiatus, Brody doing his investigation and find out the drugs under below part of the yacht. He is being captured by Leeds and eventually Mitch come to save him.
The story is pretty simple but surrounded with jokes. Some dirty jokes and others no so really funny jokes. I don't find anything meaningful from this film, it is just comedy film to me.
When I was teenager, I watch couple of baywatch series episodes and sometimes I like how they save peoples' live. This film is not what I've expected from Baywatch' film.
If you really like comedy film, maybe this film might suit you.

This film is about the memory machine which can save anyone' memories developed by scientific pioneered Gordon Dunn. Suddenly he died and Sam Bloom as the person who ever meet with Gordon and has his bad memory about past accident recorded in Gordon' memory machine.
Sam talked with each person that has the memory fragment in Gordon' machine. This film is pretty slow. Each character has their own story about Gordon and their disklike and deceitfulness. I find this film takes long time before finally reach the answer what caused Gordon' death.
Some people has memory they want to erased from their mind. Something they don't want to remember for the rest of their life. Its our own choice and it should not be determined by the memory machine.
Although this film is slow and a bit boring, its still entertaining film if you really like scientific drama film or you like peter dinklage' acting.
Mae Holland get the job at The Circle from her friend, Annie. Mae works as Customer experiences. Later Mae feels that The Circle controlling her life and she starts to feel lost of privacy of her life, especially after the death of her best friend, Mercer.
Review:
This film is intense, in my opinion. The music in this film makes the film more thriller. Mae is getting a permanent job after perviously work as temp staff. She is happy when her friend Anne get her job as Customer Experiences at The Circle, the big company you ever imagine.
I like the high-tech environment of The Circle. You will be amaze too when you see how big and modern The Circle is. One day Mae attend Tom presentation, SeeChange, which one of The circle product which is uses small camera anywhere to make real time video.
Later Mae go kayaking and be saved by cops who can see her through SeeChange app. At one SeeChange presentation, after capture one prisoner using SeeChange, folks asked her to find Mercer using SeeChange and while they are chasing Mercer, Mercer trapped to car accident which cause his death.
Mae feels remose of his death and she really feels she does not have privacy in her life.
I really can't say I enjoy this film. The acting is good and the music and plot are fine. I recommend this film if you are thriller/sci-fi thriller seekers. This one might suits you.
Now I would like to review about movie tittle K Missing Kings. This movie is an old one from 2014 (if I am not wrong). But I decide to review it now because I just watch it. For some reason, I cannot watch it at that time. So, I am very grateful to be able to watch it now. This movie is continuation from anime tittle K. I quite like the anime even though it was quite short. In this movie, we have the same characters (even dead characters came back via dream ^^). Besides, there's also new antagonist characters.
The movie tell story about Mihasihara Tower assault. On rainy night, certain group attack Mihasihara Tower (it was in Gold Clan territory). Because of this, Blue clan was called to help but unfortunately they cannot do anything except doing blockade (they don't want to violate other clan territory). It was revealed that this group is after certain thing that have been guarded for a long time. When the good guys think that bad guys gonna win, certain new King appear and the rest is history.
Let say that I really like this movie but of course things could have been better. I really like the bad guys. I don't know how to describe it but characters are the strong points from K and K Missing Kings and its subsequent sequel K Return of Kings, after the animation. They really make every characters unique. You care about all of them. Unfortunately the story is quite pale. I mean it have interesting promise, but the execution are short of expectation. Let's not talk about the ending. They clearly make it with the sequel in mind because of cliff hanger. Overall, this is top notch anime movie. The production team clearly spare no expense for the animation, graphic, sound, and voice actors. They use many famous voice actors for his movie after all, like Mamoru Miyano, Tomokazu Sugita, Jun Fukuyama, Daisuke Ono, Masakaya Matsukaze, Kenji Tsuda, Kaori Nazuka, Yui Horie, etc
Anyway, I really recommend this movie for K lovers or anime lovers or people who just want to watch action anime.

Maddy likes Olly, the boy from neighbourhood who likes to notice her since the first time. He sent the cake to her house and gives her his number. Since then they contacted each other. Olly always convince her that although she sick, she still can experiences what healthy people experienced, love.

Oneday, Maddy said to Olly that she wanted to see the ocean. Later, Olly decorated her room with all of oceans wallpapers. Maddy run from house to Olly and they both go to Hawaii. Maddy became sick in Hawaii and have to go hospital, later she come back home. Maddy received call from hospital from Hawaii and she found out that she never really had STID the autoimmune deficiency disease, it is just her mother scenario that she sicked and she need to be always at home. Her mother become protective of her because she did not want to lose Maddy again after losing her father and sibling. Later Maddy come to New York to reconcile with Olly.
I thought this story is too impossible to be true. I mean what kind of mother to treat her daughter that way, her daughter not even can have proper school. I don't think Maddy' mother really care the future of her daughter. This is the teenager love story, this is still good love story, with good actor and actress, this is entertaining love story. I recommend any teenager who likes love story to watch this film.
I want to say that I quite like the trailer and it was beautiful. So I decide to watch it. But my opinion is that the story is less beautiful than the visual. I don't know what happen but it was less satisfying watching the movie. The story is simple despite the impression the trailer give. You think it was the fight between evil dark force and civilization. The truth is it was simpler than that. Well, I cannot share much without spoiling it. The fight is pretty bad (well the budget goes for the visual after all).
Despite the story, the other characters make nice impression except the bad guys. They are quite outstanding in their own rights. Valerian is womanizer but dependable and Laureline is smart and tough woman. There are also some funny moment with Bubble (Rihanna). Unfortunately that was not the case for the bad guys. If they place more emphasized for the bad guys, it will make the fight much more interesting. Not too mention, the music basically non existent to support the climax scene.
Anyway, the movie is quite unnecessarily long. I mean I like long movie but not when it was unnecessary. You can still enjoy the movie even if certain scenes were removed like the whole arc about glamopod and wholan bateur (forget the name). Anyway, I have soft spot for scify. So, I don't hate the movie. It was quite enjoyable if you can just not think too much about the movie and some of its disbelieve moments.

Later When Peter Bretter decided to go to Hawaii to release his stress, he met Sarah and her new boyfriend Aldous Snow. They both tried hard to make each other jealous just trying to get the winner.

This film is entertaining, I like Jason Segel as Peter Bretter, he is really hilarious. I liked when he cried over Sarah. Later Peter meet hotel concierge Rachel. At first, Peter just use Rachel to move on from Sarah, but later they become engage in serious romantic relationship. Later Sarah Marshall had ugly fight with Aldous Snow that caused them to break up and when Sarah tried to get back to Peter, Peter denied her, saying they are over and she caused big damage to him.
Overall, this film is sweet and entertaining. You should watch it if you liked romantic comedy film like I am.

Watching this spider-man is like turning back time to spiderman before andrew garfield era. Maybe around tobey macguire era. The spiderman suit he had is just like cosplay contest and later tony stark gave him better spiderman costume.
He is acrobatic and he able to make spiderman liquid chemical for the spiderweb. What I like about this film is that this film is like down-to-earth storyline, the story is pretty clear in this film without super hi-tech weapon or enemy. What I don't like is this film is too old fashion, I expect this film to be more modern or at east better than andrew garfield spiderman era.
I think this film is suitable for kids and pre teenager. This film is for introducing spiderman to those who never exactly knew who spiderman is. Yet, I think if you watch tobey macguire or andrew garfield spiderman, you will not surpise of this film. I think this film is still good to watch because it has good storyline and plot, actors also good and entertaining.
I find it's quite funny that I watch Despicable Me 1, ignore Despicable Me 2, and now watch Despicable Me 3. Because of that, I missed the part when Gru married Jane and become super secret spy or so I was told in the film. Actually I really enjoy Despicable Me 1, but I cannot say the same for Despicable Me 3. It's not bad film or have bad story. It just that the story a little bland for my liking despite the twin arc story. And the minion role itself is quite limited despite being one of the biggest appeal for this film. Maybe if the script writer make Dru as the villain, it would be quite enjoyable compare to Bratz bad boy theme. I don't know why but I cannot take Bratz seriously. Maybe the moustache and hair ruined it for me. or Maybe the background itself is not convincing. But overall, he is not memorable as villain or any character at all. Heck even the new boss (whom only appear for several seconds) have better charisma than him. But of course, that's just me. Hope Despicable Me 4 will be much better.
Nevertheless, I still recommend this movie for people who want to have some fun with Dru and Gru antic hero combination to save the world.

I like Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogen, they are really have good chemistry here and really hilarious. Everything they did together just really funny and entertaining. Heigl as Alison Scott really beautiful independent woman with good career at E entertainment and Ben Stone is even living illegally and did nude video editing with his friends.
It's just good to see them interact each other, getting to know each other, make love together and make fun together. I like the scene when Ben Stone propose to Alison Scott, where he propose with empty box and promise to her that he will work hard to buy good ring for her. it's bittersweet romance.
After their great fight at Alison' car, they reunite when Alison give birth to their child. This drama is entertaining and will not bore you at all. Overall this is the simple sweet funny romance drama I really recommend if you bored at home especially on weekend. Rating: 8/10

This story is unique. At first I was doubt when I read the synopsis somewhere, yet I still try to watch this film and I did not regret it. This film is beautiful. A French woman who married to French diplomat and have 2 kids fall in love with young writer. She support him to be a writer. They have affair and love each other. Though in our society this kind of love would be called 'affair', but Arielle think she is truly feel love at the first time. She feel she did not love her husband and she thought its just youth mistake.
When Brian decide to be Arielle husband, she finally refused because she has commitment to her husband and her kids. Yet they still keep their love for each other. Brian publish book about "The mermaid" which is inspired from Arielle and Arielle keep put the ring Brian gave her. It is very romantic yet matured love. I like how Arielle and Brian connect to each other. They are really complement each other.
I really recommend this film if you like romance film.
